Normalyn N. says, "My daughter started taking ukulele lessons with Eric on Zoom during the spring of the pandemic. At 10-years-old, she was the youngest and only child in a beginners group ukulele class of adults. But she held her own and with Eric's coaching, she was able to learn to play fairly quickly. It was great for her to be able to learn an instrument and have a creative outlet during that tough time of quarantine. It also sparked the beginning of her love for music that has continued to grow now as she is in her teen years. As she got older, she transitioned from ukulele lessons to private guitar (both acoustic and electric) as well as piano lessons. Through the years she has learned so much from Eric. She went from a kid with no musical background to reading music fluently, studying music theory, playing four instruments, and performing guitar solos at school concerts. It's amazing how much she was able to learn through her weekly virtual lessons with Eric. He is an amazing music teacher and great with kids. He is patient, encouraging, and able to deliver instruction in a way that makes it easy and enjoyable to learn. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for a music teacher for their young kids or teens." Read more

Daniel 4. says, "Joe is a great teacher! I have had the please of working with him for over a year now, he does our conducting for an adult string ensemble. He is great at communicating to the adult group what needs work or attention. And being patient with us, because we need the extra time to get some stuff to stick, we aren't as fast as the younger kids that can adapt much quicker. He's always there with energy and enthusiasm!" Hailee N. says, "Tracy is a one of a kind soul on this earth, I truly have never met someone more exuberant, and her energy and passion towards teaching is inspiring. Not only is she remarkably talented, but she accommodates to a students learning style and patiently works with her student to ensure they’re learning the way that suits them best. Before taking vocal lessons, I had little to no experience with singing. Her classes helped to shed light upon topics and principles I could never quite grasp before, and even if implementing these new habits were a struggle for me, Tracy was/is always patient and supportive of me through and through. She creates a safe and uplifting environment that motivates you to strive for success, and especially as someone with a little bit of anxiety, the atmosphere she creates lures you out of your shell. The progress I made under her wing is astounding to me, and I never would have got to this point if it hadn’t been for her. I highly recommend Tracy to anyone in search of a vocal teacher, she is beyond perfection!" Read more

I thoroughly enjoy my piano studio, and feel thankful on a weekly basis that I get to work with such wonderful kids and families. I am a serious but nurturing teacher, and have had many students who have remained with my studio for years. I believe that parents need to be involved in helping their child schedule practice time through middle school at a minimum. I teach my own daughters and still remind them to get to the piano. The more piano becomes a regular routine, the more successful a child or adult learner will be at it. I believe that we as parents of budding musicians need to encourage them in their practice and insist upon it. I tea...

Mr. Kim’s teaching style had a nice mix of positive encouragement as well as strictness. Every lesson was productive and I definitely gained new insight after each one. Our time together changed how I saw horn playing for the better and brought light to bad playing habits I didn’t even know I had.
