What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out a little bit about them and what they are passionate about.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Spanish was one of my majors in college.. I lived in Spain for many years after college and have since been teaching Spanish in corporate settings as well as private lessons.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am new to Austin and am unsure of what the pricing standards are in this market. In person will be a higher rate than on line. I always discount the first session.n
How did you get started teaching?
College. It helped pay for my travel abroad:)

All ages in corporate settings as well as private groups/individuals.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would make sure it is someone likeable to you. Learning another language can be intimidating so the more comfortable you are with your teacher the easier it will be to learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time do they have to dedicate to the learning process. The class does not stop once you leave, there will be homework and possible outings to test their level of understanding of the language.
