Reed has been my two kids' piano teacher for the past five years and we all think Reed is the best! He is clearly a very skilled and talented musician himself and his love of music is obvious in his instruction and teaching style. As a teacher, Reed is a perfect combination of patience, encouragement, and structure. While he focuses on the fundamental and technical aspects of music, he also encourages students to develop their own style and explore songs and music that speak to their individual interests. My kids have learned to play some of their favorite songs which keeps them interested and excited about piano. When I hear my kids playing the piano, I am struck by the fact that, thanks to Moon Magnet, they are really good piano players! Reed is reliable and dependable while at the same time being flexible with scheduling. This flexibility is important to our family given our kids' activities and changing schedules. Reed is also friendly and approachable and always open to suggestions. We have referred Moon Magnet to several friends and they have all been extremely happy and impressed. I found Peter as a beginner, looking to take adult lessons. After just a few months, my sight reading, piano theory knowledge, and understanding of the instrument’s capabilities increased substantially. Peter continues to show me different ways to be creative with the piano in order to play the way I prefer/enjoy. He tailors our lessons based on what my ultimate goals are. He consistently finds new music for me to learn, and I always walk away from our lessons feeling more confident in my skills and knowledge of the piano. Another great thing about my lessons with Peter is the patience and understanding he shows with my progress; he is willing to go over things multiple times as needed and repeatedly works around my schedule when I have to miss a lesson. Eric is an amazing teacher! I wasn't sure how virtual lessons would work, but Eric has an amazing setup and instructions that make them wonderfully convenient and easy! Eric is fantastic at catering the lessons to your songs and interests while meeting you where you are at. He has helped me fall in love with playing the piano again!
