Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I coach there is a strong focus on the fundamentals. A typical session will focus on foot work, passing, catching, face-off's, shooting, shooting on the run, picking up ground balls, defensive positioning, and checking. Everything I coach will depend on the athlete, level of skill currently, desired level of skill, and position played. Every session will end with my favorite activity, a Shoot Off! No matter what skill set or age, every player loves to shoot!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Current player in the ALL (American Lacrosse League)
l played 4 years of high school football on Long Island (4 years on varsity, 2 years as a starter). I played basketball and lacrosse as well.
In college I played 4 years of club lacrosse at Sacred Heart University, and was a starter all 4 years as a face-off/defensive mid-fielder. 2 of my 4 years, we went to the NCLL championships at University of Maryland and placed 8th in the Nation.
