About

Huntington Center for Performing Arts is a 4000 square foot, state of the art facility dedicated to fostering an appreciation for all the performing arts (dance, music & theater) by providing a conservatory education with the objective of nurturing the creative potential of young dancers, musicians & actors. Our ballet school is an American Ballet Theatre(R) National Training Curiculum program with a trained , professional staff of ballet teachers who have been trained in NYC by the officil school of America's premier ballet school The Jaqueline Kennedy Onnasis School of Ballet (JKO for short).

Our music school follows the Suzuki method of study. Using the same approach as language students as young as 3 yrs. embark on a journey of learning by ear with the assistance of their parents. Group lessons provide a fun, social setting and private study reinforces the technical requirements that is needed to play with a beautiful tone.

Our Musical Theater program has steadily grown during the past 5 years. We offer classes for 8 week sessions, a major production each spring (last year we performed Mary Poppins & Annie) and this past summer 2021, we offered 2 camp sessions that concluded with an in-studio performance of the Wizard of Oz and Matilda!

Instil discipline, pride and creativity in all students through the study of music, classical ballet & theater arts.Train them in the art of performance through our affiliation with LI Ballet Theatre located in the Center.
