Kay's Lessons & Training is conventiently located at a small farm in Lothian, Maryland, less than an hour from Alexandria, VA , Washington, D.C. and Annapolis.
I have 20+ years experience teaching a variety of English and Western riding disciplines.- Safety is my first priority, followed by fun and education. I will teach you how to safely and confidently handle, groom, tack up, and ride a horse. My lessons will be tailored to your pace and style of learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We discuss their goals and map out a plan to achieve these goals.
If the student is a beginner, we start from the ground up by teaching them how to safely handle and groom a horse. Once I feel that this has been accomplished, we move to ring work and riding the horse.
