My name is Nydia de Jesus, teacher of profession for almost 18 years. I worked as a teacher in Puerto Rico for 16 years, teaching classes to elementary, middle and high school students. I taught the subjects of Spanish, social studies, science and mathematics. In Maryland in Prince George's County I was an intermediate level Spanish teacher at Greenbelt Middle School and now in Montgomery County I am a substitute teacher of immersion in Spanish for two years. I like to teach and more in my native language, in Spanish. I have a Bachelor in Education and I am a certified teacher by the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. I am an American citizen, I read, I write and I understand English, although I speak very little English. I am married, I have two children, three grandchildren and one to be born that make me very happy. My passion is to teach my language correctly, to help my students in the learning of this language and to help them to get ahead by mastering and achieving all their goals.
Mrs. Nydia de Jesus is an excellent teacher of Spanish and an innate leader. He is very creative, responsible and very professional.
