I want each student to enjoy music. However, I major on the basics in order to make them independant. I work within the framework of their interests and teach them accordingly. I have taught for many years, even in other states, New York, South Carolina, and the about 10 years here in Florida. I've been playing for audiences since I was a 7th grader in N. J. I am an active member in the Music Teachers National Assoc, and more specifically in the local and state chapters. We teach with the newest and most up to date methods. Only positive reinforcement is used. The old mehtods take to long for todays' student where there would be a 8 out of 10 cancel. Now 8 out of 10 contue. Some students can begin as early as 3 and some as late as 94. Each method is designed differently for each student Teaching since 1969 has taught the teacher just as much as it has the student.
