Santiago is a multi awarded pianist/Composer graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston on a full scholarship, as a Film Composer. He also graduated from CAEMSA in Argentina as a Contemporary Pianist. He won a first prize at the Herne Hill Music Festival in London, England in 2013 for the piano trio "Crónica de una decepción". He also won the first prize in the largest composition contest in Uruguay, organized by the Ministry of Culture (Premios Nacionales de Música) with the song "Nostalgias" (Latin music) in 2013. I have many years of performing (original bands through musicals at the Broward Center, et. al.) and teaching experience (Palm Bach. Co. School District, Palm Beach State College and Miami-Dade College). I use that and my easy going personality to make lessons enjoyable and productive. I love music and helping and watching my students improve.
