What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing is to know it, interview it, know what the main objective
you want to achieve, then apply the diagnostic test, then discuss the
results (learning needs) and build the tutoring plan with the long or
short term objectives according to the needs .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied the bachelor's degree in pedagogical sciences five years specializing in the Spanish language and then completed the master's degree in higher education to implement all the methodology and digitalized techniques such as blended learning.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As for the fees, the classes of oral communication would be at the rate
of 20 and written communication 25. Those of correction of phonetic
accent and Spanish phonology at 30.
How did you get started teaching?
Since studying in elementary school I was a monitor who is the student
who helps the teacher with work in the classroom then with students in
need of support. Then in the University I was Assistant Professor who
helped in many instructional tasks. The last two years of Bachelor were
teaching practice in front of a class both school courses.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had the great opportunity to work with all grades and students
with disabilities of all kinds. I do not discriminate against any physical
or mental condition I am egalitarian, I defend that every human being
has the right to learn by learning.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event was the world language academic
competitions of Broward County public schools
where students were able to demonstrate acquired
oral communication skills. Important opportunity
to demonstrate the work of the language teacher.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When selecting the Spanish language teacher,
ask what your native language is or your
first language this determines the full domain
of the language content
