About

I teach private lessons to those who would like to dance. I specialize in choreographing wedding dances and teaching Ballroom and Salsa. What makes me unique is that I come from a general dance background of Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip-Hop so I have extensive training with a lot of technical training. I have been teaching for over 15 years with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

I also help a lot of people get over their fear of getting out on the dance floor. Having confidence will allow you to go out and dance and feel comfortable. Since I have an extensive dance backgroung with many different styles, I incorporate them into what I call "Freestyle". Freestyle dancing is you being able to dance by yourself doing your own thing. This takes several lessons to build up steps but usallly most students feel comfortable to go out and dance around their 8th or 9th lesson.

I have taught in numerous dance studios, country clubs, and other venues throughout South Florida. I currently teach private dance lessons in Ballroom/Latin dance, Salsa, Wedding (First Dance) Ballet, Freestyle and Hip-Hop. I have a space where I live and I also rent space at several locations or can come to you.

I look foward to teaching you to dance!

Frequently asked questions

I ask the student what are they looking to get out of the dance lesson. Then I ask them what training they have had. Based on their answer I give them a few steps to see where they are and what they need to work on. If they are brand new to dance they will start with the basics which includes, posture, balance, and basic awareness besides basic steps.

I have been dancing for a little over 15 years as well as teaching. I went to college for Dance specifically and have a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Dance. I was also trained extensively in Ballroom/Latin at both Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray Dance Studios. I still train today and take Ballet classes, Contemporary/Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Ballroom/Latin.

I always loved to dance and when I was younger I was highly involved in music. Watching videos of artists dancing such as Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson I was able to pick up the choreography quickly from watching the videos. I also was good dancing in clubs while I will still in highschool. ( I would get into clubs underage back then!) When I went onto college as a music major I joined the dance team and realized I was really talented and could pick up the choreography and teach it to others and realized I need to get more involved in dancing. So I started to train intensely.

Now I teach here in South Florida.

I helped choreographed a Latin dance scene in the movie Step Up 4. I actually taught the 2 main characters several steps for one of their scenes in a latin restaurant/lounge.

I can teach you a lot and as fast as you can handle steps and choreography. It is up to you to practice to really become better and to memorize what you have learned.

If its Ballroom Dance, see if the studio is overpriced, most of them are. Then call me!

If its any other dance style Google the teacher.
