About

I have been an instructor for 13 years and what I have learned is how important it is to make golf as simplistic as possible for the student. I avoid trying to make computer perfect golf swings and strive to make individually perfect golf swings.

I enjoy watching people get better, achieving their goals, then setting higher ones.

Eric is the best golf instructor I have ever had. He has been able to reverse 30 years of stupid in a short period of time. When I started with him I was shooting +130 and coming over the top so bad I was hurting myself. Now he has me shooting 87ish and I now get complements on my swing and tempo. I can hardly wait for my lessons because I always come away with a little bit more understanding of my swing and my tendancies.
I get to see the A players that he works with and feel privileged that he teaches me right along side them!!
Give him try. You will not be disappointed. He is by far probably the best value in North Florida.

Frequently asked questions

Always with new students I like to talk with them about what they're looking to accomplish. Next would be to evaluate them hitting shots putting chipping whatever it may be that they think needs work. Last is coming up with a plan to get them where they want to be.

I am a USGTF certified instructor and did an internship with a top teacher in California years ago. I also stay up on current teaching methods, drills, and ideas.

Lesson prices are

I played a lot of golf growing up and felt I was either going to play or teach for a living. So before I turned professional I got certified to teach. After playing professionally for 2 years I returned to teaching and don't have any regrets.

I have two professional players that I work with now and plenty of non professional players I work with. I basically run the gamut when it comes to coaching different skill levels.

My advice would be to try to find someone who is not trying to complicate things. This game is hard enough, find a person who knows that and tries to simplify it as much as possible.
