Hello! My name is Teacher Margie Teresa. I am so happy to be a teacher for your child! My experience in Academia is validated by my BA in Business Administration with minors in English, and Economics. All of which have enhanced my ability to communicate with my students. I am an experienced native bilingual professional with 14 years of extensive teaching experience of diverse populations. Watching children learn makes my heart happy. I home-schooled both of my children whom have, since then, gone off to college. Having taught ESL online, being bilingual, ESL certified, TOEFL certified, and having worked with children online and in traditional classrooms, have given me great experience in teaching. My teaching has given me great insight and I have been privileged to run various civil groups within my community. My personal interests lie in cooking, baking, gardening, bicycling, Zumba, yoga, traveling, and classic cars. It is an honor to teach your child in my classroom. Thank you!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I take the time to get to know my students likes, dislikes, and what their goals are. Over the first couple of classes we establish classroom rules, respect, student's current knowledge level in the subject, and student goals. We have fun while learning by creating a curriculum suited to the learning style of the student. This is done through games, activities and projects.
