What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Phone interview to learn more about students' experience in the language and knowledge, goals, schedule, availability and rates.
45 minutes interview/assessment on first lesson to see where student is standing and where will we need to work in order to achieve student's goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Social work/instructor in rural areas in Peru. Worked as a voluntary for the less fortunate kids and taught them amongst other subjects English (to native spanish speaking children)
Experience teaching in a pre-school
Experience as a Tutor with adults in UC of Syracuse University in Utica, NY.
