Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My goal for every student is to work towards their Stock Shot! A stock shot is a go to shot that can be used when under pressure so scores can be steady! Short game is also the fastest way to lower scores so we spend quality time there just as much as the Stock Shot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PGA Professional
Certified by former Top 5 Instructor Charlie King
spent 6 months being mentored but Charlie King

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Single hour lessons:
$90 for adults
$80 for juniors
Packages of 3 and 5 are available upon request.
How did you get started teaching?
Played professional golf and decided that I didn't have the backing funancially to make it where I wanted to go. So realized that I could help others get to their dreams with the right skills and instruction. So Charlie King helped me learn how to communicate the game, not how to teach it. Communicating is the key to learning the game.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners all the way to tour pros..
I work with a lot of juniors and make golf fun and easy so they play for a lifetime whether they strive to be a pro, in business deals, or just play for fun.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A freshman in high school who has been out of golf for 4 years due to an injury came to me and she used to be a really good jr golfer, but was struggling bad. We worked for 30 minutes and I got the biggest smile and she said to me, "I am so glad there is someone who could get me to my old self so easily!"
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they know how to communicate and not just a knowledgeable person who has played in tournaments.. there is a huge difference in a golfer who teaches and a golf instructor who played golf!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What their ultimate goals are in golf
The time they are willing to put in
How much are they willing to commit to and pay?
Do you make it fun as well?
