The McCord Golf Academy teaching philosophy has evolved in the 40 plus years that I have been teaching this great game. Learning the golf swing has always been a challenge and putting all the elements together never easy. As well as offering superior mechanics, I believe the way we teach our swing addresses the total golf game and makes learning very systematic. We start with Putting and move through a series of short shots working our way back to the tee. When you can perform effectively around the green you will be developing your total game and your full swing.
While we stress Power and Efficiency the scoring shots around the green is what lower golf scores. When you giv
Golf can be frustrating. We focus our minds, we position our bodies, and we try to account for every little detail in the swing. But too often, it feels like that little white ball has a mind of its own. At Chuck Waltz Golf, my objective is simple. I will take strokes off of your game. Whether you want to break 70, 80, 90, or 100, I will personally develop a strategy to help you achieve your golf goals. Every golf swing is unique and there is no single instructor for everyone. I was introduced to the game of golf at age 12 by my father. Many summer days my father would drop me off at the course in the early morning and I would stay until my mother picked me up at dark. From the beginning I enjoyed everything surrounding the game; playing, caddying, working in the pro shop, on the course, even picking up the range.
