About
I want to make you a better Creative!
My art is characterized by organic and feminine subject matter. I focus on nature, concept art and illustrations. My go to media include ink, watercolor, acrylic, oils, spray paint and digital media. I have participated in group, solo shows, and live paintig competitions.
I graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, with an MFA in illustration. I've been an illustrator for 9 years.
I have over 12 years of teaching experience and 6 years of social painting experience.
Teaching is a wonderful experience for me. I believe that we all have the potential to better ourselves with the right information. I understand that I have special skills in a very acute area and I want to help as many people as I can, follow the steps that have led me to being the artist that I am today, without having to go through mistakes I've made or theories I've tested. Visual Art is my passion, and I’m proud of the work I’ve done, and the work that my students are creating.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
my sessions are often project-driven, and based on what my students are trying to accomplish. My instruction is step by step, and i demonstrate everything that I expect my students to do
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Fine arts, and over 10 years of teaching experience. I focus mainly on oil and spraypaint for my personal work, but work mostly in acrylic and watercolor with my students
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$65 for private/individual sessions
$55 per person for 2-4 people

I've been teaching since i was in college, because it came naturally to me. recently, i've been teaching paint and sip classes to people with little or no painting experience and I truly love this.
What types of students have you worked with?
all ages , 3 years old-89 years old. Children's parties and adult parties, bachelorette's, company parties, and public social events
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I Love doing Sip and Paint events! I feel that this career was created with me in mind. You can see some examples on my website
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Working in acrylic is very satisfying and its a myth that you are untalented, if you feel that way. You should book a few sessions with me, and I'll help you bring out your inner artist in no time!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
could this be fun for me? what do I want out if art lessons? do i want to create a portfolio? express myself? or do i just want to have a good time? All valid ideas, they just each require a diffrent approach and I am your gal for any of them.
