Bridging cultural and language gaps truly makes me feel like I am making a difference in the world. Seeing my students, of all ages, grasp concepts that help them in all facets of life lets me know that what I am doing is worthwhile.
I love helping out a variety of students. Most adults solicit my services for help with profession specific vocabulary while younger students are looking to obtain school credit. It is my ability to meet students where they are and witness the gradual success that gives me the most joy.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our initial consultation is to dertermine student goals and to see what resources they may already have. From there I compile additional tools for each learning session so that the student is highly engaged and flourishing in the language.
