About

Learning to play the piano, or mastering any skill, requires perseverance, practice, and the desire to succeed. It is very similar to going on a journey. Initially, the road may be easy as you push forward toward your destination. Eventually, if you travel far and long enough, there will be hills to climb, deep curves, twists, and turns to navigate and sometimes you may just run out of gas. Yet, if you are serious about reaching your goal, you push through these roadblocks. Playing the piano is not an easy endeavor. It requires commitment of time and effort. Beautifully, in accordance with Universal Law, it is one of those things in which your end-product accurately reflects your investment. Even the simplest piece, requires time and effort. I want each student to make that commitment and to enjoy the journey along the way.

When I see my students perform in concert playing Bach, Beethoven, and the boys it is wonderful knowing the students’ love for music shines through. They can read notes and switch easily to jazz, popular, or other genres of music. What a joy it is to go to work each day doing what I love, teaching piano!

Mrs. Wallace is very patient, nurturing, positive, and honest with her instruction. I have learned so much from her as an adult student. I enjoy learning to play the piano. This is one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

Mrs. Wallace is the best music teacher. I love how she works with my children. She sees their strengths and it carries over to them and they believe that they can do. She is so patient, loving, and one of my childrens biggest cheerleaders. She applauds not only their musical achievements but any other achievement they may earn.

We couldn’t be happier to have found Mrs. Wallace for our daughter. She has been studying at 88 Keys for a number of years now and her growth as a pianist, musician, and human under Mrs. Wallace’s guidance cannot be overstated! Mrs. Wallace demands excellence and hard work from all of her students yet provides a very supportive environment in which to grow. She is kind, encouraging, and most importantly provides amazing opportunities for her students. As a professional musician myself, I appreciate her dedication to her students, her understanding of the repertoire and skills necessary to excel at all levels, her excellent communication and organization, and her life long love of music. Mrs. Wallace is a true gem and is equally adept at teaching beginners, advanced students, and adults.
