About
Hola ! My name is Chelsey Perry and I am a senior at the University of Georgia. I am majoring in Journalism and minoring in Spanish. I am offering tutoring services for Spanish this summer.
Learning a new language can give you a new perspective on the world around you. It also opens new possibilities and opportunities for you in the working world. I enjoy aiding someone else in opening a whole new world that is available to them just by speaking.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process would begin with assessing the students level of Spanish and seeing which areas we need to target. After assessing the student I will create a personalized lesson plan catered to their speaking level aimed at getting them to the next level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am completing my spanish minor at the University of Georgia. I have also used spanish during studies abroad.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As a standard I charge $50 per a one hour lesson. I will teach 2 hours max for $100. I don't believe in going more than 2 hours as to keep the student engaged.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching as a way to keep myself speaking Spanish during the summer!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels of students. It is okay if the student has no prior Spanish speaking skills, my goal is to get you a level above where you already are.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to find a teacher that caters to your personal learning skills and helps you to really enjoy learning the Spanish language.
