Hola, ¿Cómo estás?. Looking to take your Spanish skills to the next level? Get personalized one on one classes with me! I am professional Spanish Teacher, originally from Cuba. My classes are for all levels – it doesn’t matter if you are a total beginner! For most adults, 1-2 hours of online Spanish classes a week is helpful in making progress. If you are preparing for an upcoming trip to any Spanish speaking country or if you simply want to progress faster, then we can customize the classes based on your needs. ¡Hasta la vista!

Conversation
Conversation will be part of every class. Everything we learn will be practiced in day-to-day conversations and we can talk about whatever topics you like! From day 1 you will know the structures to ask questions and answer properly.
Grammar
You will learn easy techniques on how to use and remember tenses and conjugations - it won't be too hard for you. We will cover a structured list of subjects, according to your level and learning pace.
Practice activities
Activities to practice at home will be included, which will be customized and relevant to the class we are doing. They will consist of writing and listening so you can continue practicing even when you’re not in class.
Personal plan
I will develop a plan just for you that is adjusted to your expectations and needs including: improving skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Plus, it’s all tailored to the topics you choose.
Fun
Remember, the most important thing is that you enjoy the process of learning. Every lesson will include activities and materials that are always engaging so you have a good time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically invite all new students to take advantage of a free demo class via Skype for 20-30 minutes by Skype or Zoom to discuss their needs and goals prior to starting a regular teaching session. It is helpful to me to tailor-make the proper learning program for each student. The trial class takes about 30 minutes, and it reassures the student that he or she is in good hands.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Computer Science and Engineering Science Teacher and Spanish Language Teacher. I have a Master in Teaching Spanish. I have been teaching at university level for over 10 years, Computer Science and Engineering immersive in Spanish Language in Cuba, and over 5 years in Elementary Educational Institutes (Public and Private) in USA as Spanish Lead Teacher and Computer Science. I am the CEO, teacher and academic coordinator of two bilingual educational platform AAC Aprendiendo a Color, LLC (Enrichment Educational Program) and Español Latino, Inc (Language School).

My prices are very affordable. I truly believe that language classes should not be too expensive because it requires regular classes to learn the many tips and tools needed to learn a language properly. I guarantee that my teaching quality is top-notch. My lessons are a real value for the money.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in 2002 in a Primary School and after my college degree I stay to teach and train the next generation of engineering. Over the years, I have taught Spanish in homeschool. Montessori programs, Especial Education Institute, for Adults Programs and Language Camps. I enjoy teaching immensely.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages in the past, however, my current tutoring sessions are available for all adults and young people starting at 5 years of age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My most recent project is our Enrichment Educational Program (AAC Aprendiendo a Color). AAC has been more than a learning journey. Our program is unique, intensive, fun, academically. Our kids learn Spanish immersive in a lot of hands on activities relating with topics like engineering, art, science, social study, history. We work with units of inquiry like How we communicate today? How the world work? What means emigration?. Kids from K- 12. I am proud of all the progress we’ve made !!!!
