Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know about previous athletic experience (if any) other than golf. This helps greatly in blending that into their golf game. I definately want to know exactly why they are choosing to take a lesson. This assures that we achieve their expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I first entered the golf business I was fortunate to work at places like East Lake in Atlanta and The Savannah Golf Club in Savannah. I Attended the 2nd ever PGA Business School in Dallas TX in 1965. I had some Theatrical experience which has served me well in my golf career. I taught golf via live broadcast TV for 5 years. I was one of, if not the first, golf professional in the world to use Video Replay in teaching while operating Telegolf Instruction Center for several years in Decatur, GA.
