Erin fell in love with the violin at age seven under the instruction of Natalie Colbert at E. Rivers Elementary School in Atlanta, GA. She studied violin through high school and college, and received a BA in Communications with a Minor in Music from Georgia State University. After a lifelong study of the violin, Erin began to play the viola as a happy accident. As an undergraduate student in college, Erin’s chamber music group needed a violist to play the Schubert Trout Quintet. Never one to turn down a challenge, Erin jumped right in and never looked back. Hi there! My name is Jealyna and I'm a senior at Berklee College of Music. I've been studying music and performing since I was 3, and I've been teaching for about 5½ years now. Violin is my principal instrument and I've been playing that for 8 years now. My secondary instrument is Voice and although I've been singing since I was two, my professional training only started about 2 years ago. Teaching music is my biggest passion becasue I know I wouldn't be where I am without the amazing music educators that trained me, so this is my way of giving back to the music world.
