I teach all Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Country-Western dancing. My students frequently compete and perform if they wish. I am at 30-time NDCA top teacher award recipient. I have been teaching dance full-time for 29 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what dances interest them the most and what their goals are and proceed by challenging them each week. I also start a secret Facebook group with them to upload videos of all new information for them to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two education degrees. In addition I have coached with national and international champions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$70 per hour, or a pack of 10 hours for $645.
How did you get started teaching?
I was choreographing for a national champion color guard, and a dancer invited me to interview at their studio.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages and abilities of students. Many of my students have ended up competing.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Each year I run and organize two dance showcases and I am very proud of the reputation that they have.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone with experience and a proven track record.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
That will clearly be different for every individual.
