Been teaching art at the Field Museum since 1997. I teach all ages, shapes and sizes without any discrimination in ability.. I can paint, draw, fold Origami, sculpt and work with wood... My diverse experience has been the source of my teaching and guidance.. I teach on average 60-100 students per week.. Teaching is an art form and one of my greatest passions!

Hi, my name is Shanee and I am an art Junky. I love All Things Art. As a matter of fact, I see the world through an artistic lens which means I see the art in everything. I am a self-taught artist and have been doing it since I could walk. I  just recently started teaching and I can honestly say that it saved my life. I was bored with work and creating this company makes living a meaningful and passionate life possible. I believe that I can help others tap into their creativity and have fun doing it. I seriously don't believe that there is such a  thing as bad artwork, there is something to admire in it all.  ... View Profile

In Every lesson, we use mindfulness, abstract thinking, & constructive criticism to distinguish what steps are needed to progress. -In drawing, I like to start with studying from the Outside, and appropriating the captured images Inside my studio. Sometimes the studies get collaged into the final piece. -In Painting I like to start with Acrylic, filling composition, creating space, timre, and depth, then finalizing with layers of oil pastels and paints on top. -In sculpure I like to think moderately more Functional. When can this object do or bring to me? Then I scavange for Materials. <br><a href="https://lessons.com/il/chicag ... View Profile
