I teach students the foundations of rhythm and playing together, keeping it fun and interesting. I meet the student where they are at skill wise and move them forward from there. I bring in a lot of influence of drumming styles from around the world. I have been performing and reaching for over 25 years.

Tambor Chicago is focused on promoting the proliferation of Afro-Cuban folkloric music to diverse audiences. We offer private studies, group classes, and full length performance showcasing Afro-Cuban drumming, song, and dance. Our lessons cover conga, bongo, bata, timbales, drum set, and more.
