I teach students the foundations of rhythm and playing together, keeping it fun and interesting. I meet the student where they are at skill wise and move them forward from there. I bring in a lot of influence of drumming styles from around the world. I have been performing and reaching for over 25 years.

I have 30 years of successful experience as a certified public school band director in the Chicago area. I have a masters degree in music as well. My bands have received first division and superior ratings throughout the Midwest, and I received a "Key Contributor" award from my school.
