I teach students the foundations of rhythm and playing together, keeping it fun and interesting. I meet the student where they are at skill wise and move them forward from there. I bring in a lot of influence of drumming styles from around the world. I have been performing and reaching for over 25 years.

We try to design lessons around student needs and goals, there's so much reward in passing on the passion for music.

I have been playing drums for 35 years and have performed all over the world. I have a degree in music from the Saint Paul Conservatory of music… I teach anyone from touring professionals, to beginners, people who used to play and want to get back into it, or serious students who are looking to prep for college or a recital or a jury…… whatever your journey is, let me help you on it!!!

I teach drum lessons to kids age 10 up to adults. Any skill level is welcome from complete beginner to advanced. My goal as a teacher is to help you gain a solid foundation of the essentials, technique, rudiments, hand / foot coordination, reading music and also learning by ear. Having these things as a skill set will enable you to learn any style of music you want and achieve your musical goals.
