I have been playing drums for 35 years and have performed all over the world. I have a degree in music from the Saint Paul Conservatory of music… I teach anyone from touring professionals, to beginners, people who used to play and want to get back into it, or serious students who are looking to prep for college or a recital or a jury…… whatever your journey is, let me help you on it!!!

I am a percussionist based in the Chicago suburbs with degrees in music education and performance. I have experience teaching students both privately and in small/large group settings both through school districts and independently. I recently earned my master's degree in percussion performance from Northern Illinois University, where I specialized in keyboard percussion and contemporary music. I have multiple years of experience teaching snare drum and drumset lessons, and have taught percussionists working on marching techniques and concert styles. I am open and available to teaching all ages and abilities!

Above and Beyond Music, founded in 2010, is situated in Berwyn, Illinois. They provide high-quality music lessons, including piano, guitar, violin, and many more. Additionally, they sell new and used instruments, accessories, sound systems, and offer repair services. All proceeds support their mission at The Nite Light Cafe, a non-profit, faith-based venue that hosts various musical events in a positive, drug, and alcohol-free environment. The Nite Light Cafe, established in 2004, showcases concerts primarily for teens and young adults.
