Hi there! My name is Kate, and I am a Chicago-based vocal teacher. I specialize in Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Pop styles. Since graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, I have been teaching vocal lessons and dance lessons in the Chicago area while continuing to work professionally in the performing realm. I am excited to learn more about your goals for voice lessons!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. In my time there, I trained with the Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, as well as the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. I also completed the Stella Adler Musical Theatre Intensive in 2018.
In high school, I interned at BAMtheatre in Hinsadale, IL for 2 consecutive years, while performing with them for 3 years. There, I worked with students ages 7-16. I currently teach dance at Overshadowed Theatrical Productions in Medinah, IL, where I teach ballet, tap, and musical theatre style dance to students ages 8-58!
How did you get started teaching?
Quite simple - my voice teacher recommended that I start teaching! Since I also teach dance, I have absolutely fallen in love with teaching different aspects of the thing that I am most passionate about: Musical Theatre!
