I teach students the foundations of rhythm and playing together, keeping it fun and interesting. I meet the student where they are at skill wise and move them forward from there. I bring in a lot of influence of drumming styles from around the world. I have been performing and reaching for over 25 years.

I am a percussionist based in the Chicago suburbs with degrees in music education and performance. I have experience teaching students both privately and in small/large group settings both through school districts and independently. I recently earned my master's degree in percussion performance from Northern Illinois University, where I specialized in keyboard percussion and contemporary music. I have multiple years of experience teaching snare drum and drumset lessons, and have taught percussionists working on marching techniques and concert styles. I am open and available to teaching all ages and abilities!
