About
I possess a tremendous passion for the great game of golf! I keep my instruction simple, fun, and work hard to get you hitting the ball consistently!
I work with players of all abilities, from the seasoned players that just need to "tweak" their swing, to a newbie just getting started.
The smile on a client's face when they hit it great is what I enjoy most.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I feel it is important to understand why they are taking a lesson(s). Is it for work, fun, to play with family, etc. I also ask if they have any physical limitations that would prohibit or limit their swing. Also want to know if they have played any other sports so I can relate similarities to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started getting golf instruction at the age of 8, yes, long ago, so not only through experience, but then through becoming a PGA Professional.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
1 hour Adult Lesson - $100, Juniors 17 & Under, $75
I also have a few different options on packages.
Adult 3 Pack - $275
Adult 6 Pack - $650, also includes 6 30 minute practice sessions.
Adult 10 Pack - $1,000, also includes 10 30 minute practice sessions.
Junior 5 Pack - $350 Junior 10 Pack - $700
How did you get started teaching?
Part of the job as a golf pro at a club.
What types of students have you worked with?
The full gambit, beginner to pro athlete.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I coached middle school golf for six seasons now, both boys & girls. Seeing 3 girls I coached win the high school state championship was pretty cool!!
Now 2 of them are on Butler's team! Having one win their flight in the club championship.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Like anything else, look at the reviews from other students. Go and meet the golf pro/instructor, ask them questions, what their teaching philosophy is, etc.
It's also like a teacher in school, the more you like them, the better chance you have of learning.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The "why" of taking lessons. It is not a quick fix! What are you truly trying to accomplish by taking lessons;
* To be good enough to play in a work event
* Trying to make a school team
* To play with relatives or friends
* Better enjoyment of the game
