About
I have been teaching golf professionally for six years now and was on the Ball State men's golf team for four years. The Brickyard Crossing is a fantastic spot to learn golf! Our facilities give you the ability to work on all aspects of your game! We also have availability for on course lessons so that you can learn management skills to further lower your golf scores!
I LOVE seeing the "Aha!" In my students eyes when they finally grasp a new concept of the game that has been alluding them! I believe in teaching the player, not a technique. I am here to figure out the quickest way for you to lower scores. Not to teach you MY swing. I want you to DISCOVER your swing!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When we start a lesson, I will review your golf swing for about five minutes and diagnosis exactly what aspects what we need to work on after answering a couple of questions pertaining to your physical capabilities and your experience. We will then follow up with drills that you can use in your spare time after the lesson so that you can continue to improve after our lesson is complete! If you have a specific area of your game you are wishing to work on (i.e. putting, chipping, game management), we will just go straight to that and get the improvement started right away! Golf lessons are 60 minutes each.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played golf at Ball State for four years and have played professionally as well. I have been lucky enough to learn personally from some of the best instructors in the state of Indiana and work at some of the best golf courses in the state. I currently average a couple shots under par with each round that I play and still play in tournaments to this day!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
A single lesson is $75
A four-pack of lessons are $250
A six-pack of lessons are $300
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching when I turned professional six years ago after I completed playing college golf at Ball State University. I started mainly with juniors but now teach all age ranges both male and female.
What types of students have you worked with?
From the worst of the worst to top tier collegiate golfers.... there is not much that I have not seen before!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my students just recently had a top five finish in an international tournament along with other students who have had several wins. I love guiding my pupils to victory!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who will help you discover your swing, not teach their own. The human body is so unique that it is madness to believe that one method could possibly work for all body tops and ranges of abilities.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your goal for me?
What do you believe I need to work most on?
What kind of golfer are you yourself? (to the professional)
