Mike Mandakas is a PGA Instructor, Coach, and Trainer that has been a member of the PGA since 2005. He works with all levels of players from beginners to Tour Level players. Mike started Elevation Golf Academy in 2016 in Chicago and has recently expanded to the Indianapolis Market. Mike uses the best technology available through video analysis and data capturing to help develop players. Golf Lessons are certainly the most utilized service but other offerings are available to help golfers and athletes in Golfer Performance through Biomechanical, Mental, and Physical Training. My time splits between my Indoor Facility in Willowbrook where I have most of my technology and outdoors during the season for Driving Range, Short Game and Putting Work and On Course Instruction.
I enjoy helping others reach short term and long term goals. Whether the golfer is a beginner or elite player, I enjoy helping them improve and make the game more enjoyable to them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process begins with a short or thorough evaluation of the student. I will start by having my student fill out his section of a golfer profile, then I will fill in the rest during the evaluation and session. I will check the players physical and golf strengths and weaknesses while finding out what some of his/her short term and long term goals are that will lead into the lesson/session. After the session I will send a follow up email and discuss an instructional plan and plan for practice in between lessons.
