I became a junior pro my senior year of high school teaching 3-9 year old students. Since then I've taught age ranges from 5 years old to 70 years old. I spend 50+ hrs on the driving range each week.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with young kids all the way to Korn Ferry players. There's no age range or skill set that's beyond my teaching methods.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I play qualifiers all around the country in hopes of making it on tour one day. The last qualifier I played in was in Arlington, Tx. I was -2 under thru 16 and ended up finishing +1 and not qualifying. It was a tough lesson but one I'll cherish.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't pick a teacher just to pick one. Find someone who you're comfortable with and listens to you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What should I be doing to improve my ball striking, chipping and putting? How do I stay consistent? What drills can I do at home?
