Shelley Armer Violist

Shelley is a very professional and effective violin teacher. My daughter have taken violin lessons from her weekly for almost a year, and she really enjoyed them. Her instructions, guidance for practicing, and tips were constructive and straightforward. Even when trying to learn difficult pieces she would give very on point musical suggestions and practice techniques. All in all, shes absolutely amazing. We miss her here in Tennessee!

Shelley was skilled at coming up with creative ways of making learning fun. She kept our daughter engaged through engaging in varied visual, auditory, reading, writing, and kinesthetic violin activities. She was well-organized, professional, and made good use of our time together. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter benefited exponentially in so many ways under the instruction of Ms. Shelley. She provided expert instruction for my daughter while teaching her to play with confidence and enjoyment. She taught her the importance of discipline in your practicing and always pushing yourself on to the next challenge. Ms. Shelley also hosted some very fun and creative recitals. We sure miss her and believe there will never be another Ms. Shelley!

Shelley was my daughters first violin teacher when she started at age 6. Shelley had been so sweet and patient for my young violin learner. She can talk to you any time about students learning progress and make adjustments whether the kids are advertising quickly or struggling with certain techniques. Shelley is passionate, knowledgeable, and serious about music and music teaching. We really appreciate how she breaks a piece of music into small sections and has a preview -review teaching method. We would have had Shelley as our kids violin teach the whole time if she didnt move to another city. She is really a great teacher if you seriously really want your kids to learn violin or Viola.
