I take a different approach to the game by incorporating a solid mind, body, spirit/thought, emotion, belief aspect to the game. It’s not all about the swing but what lies behind the swing that determines outcome.
I have been playing the game for over 50 years and am a certified United States Golf Teachers Federation Instructor.
I work out of Wentworth Hills Golf Club in Plainville during the summer with the Barrie Bruce Golf School as well as privately on my own and at The Fieldhouse Arena in Easton during the winter on the weekends. Group lessons only.

Remember, golf is a game that can’t be won, only played. That from the Legend of Bagger Vance.
I enjoy watching others learn to appreciate the game and have fun doing it!

I usually will ask a series of questions in regards to their game or something in particular they are looking to work on and proceed from there but along the way I will offer to them some perspectives they may never have considered before.
Mine of my questions is, what’s the most important part of your game? To find out the answer we will have to work together!😊

Played the game since age 3 (57 years! Wow) worked in the golf industry on the retail side and did some teaching during that time. Played competitively for a few years but realized that teaching the game is the direction I wanted to go.
I have a price through the golf school I work for (Barrie Bruce Golf School) for group lessons and then I have my private rates that I charge on my own.
I can relay price information to anyone interested.
Started by teaching friends and family and found I really enjoyed teaching the game.
Kids from age 7 up to adults.
Drive, Chip and Putt. Love this event as it gets kids into the game. I’ve worked with my team of kids since the program started and it continues to grow.

Make sure you feel comfortable with whomever you decide to work with. Most importantly it has to be fun and if it is you and your instructor will build a great connection.
What are your goals as far as the game goes is the main question. What is thestudent looking to get out of his or her game?
