About
I am a passionate USGTF Golf professional who thoroughly enjoys reducing handicaps and increasing golf enthusiasts love of the game. I have successfully worked with many students- beginners to single digit handicappers- in all age groups.
By focusing on sound fundamentals and proven techniques, we can create a reliable & repeatable swing that is personalized just for you.
What I enjoy most is the ability to connect with my students and achieve the goals they are after, from just enjoying the game more to playing a more competitive game. I am most interested in helping beginner/intermediate golfers who are frustrated with inconsistent results and want to play at a higher level.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process includes having a conversation about goals and setting the right expectations based on our conversation.
From there we get your swing on HD video so we can slow it down and evaluate what you are doing well and where we can improve. Then we set an effective game plan and we begin the process of a sound swing and hopefully have some fun along the way! :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified swing "doctor" (USGTF) and have studied and mastered multiple techniques for various physiques & skill levels, realizing one swing does not fit all.
I enjoy working with anyone who is interested in learning the game of golf or simply wants to improve their game. We all know golf can be frustrating and having a professional in your corner can do wonders.
I have done courses with David Ledbetter and Hank Haney who have really helped hone my teaching skills, coaching capacity, and results.
I'm always up to date with the latest equipment, training aids, practice drills, tips, and tricks.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each lesson is $65.00 for a full hour. Besides the instruction/coaching for the session, it will also include video analysis of your swing and /or areas of improvement, as well as drills/ideas to work on. These are sent after the lesson and do not cost anything additional to you! Thie idea is to get the most out of our time together.
What types of students have you worked with?
I mostly work with beginner to intermediate golfers as I find the greatest value is starting golf enthusiasts on the correct path or helping players re-find their swing. I have seen so many golfers who have been playing for 20-plus years who struggle with the fundamentals of golf since they were never taught the correct fundamentals at an earlier stage.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice is to find a swing coach who is most interested in bringing your golf game to a new level (if that is your goal) and not just looking to give you a "quick fix" as that never lasts. Also, one who you enjoy learning from and feel comfortable with. Going through swing changes can make us nuts...at least have some fun along the way :)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Begin with the end in mind... what do you want to ultimately want to achieve or what is the end goal?
Are you looking for a "quick fix" or are you willing to re-tool your swing if need be?
If you are looking to re-tool, how much time can you commit to practicing what you are learning, ensuring it becomes a sound part of your game?
Are you coachable? :)
