Melanie K. says, "I highly recommend Jaime to anyone wanting to learn guitar, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve. Before I started taking lessons with him over a year ago, I had only dabbled with guitar and couldn’t really play. I have a very busy job, and I wanted to do something creative outside of work. Taking online lessons has been the perfect solution because it’s convenient and has allowed me to stay consistent. Even though the lessons are online, Jaime does an excellent job demonstrating techniques, correcting my playing, and providing clear instruction. He’s incredibly patient and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. He breaks techniques down into manageable steps, so I never felt overwhelmed. He tailors each lesson to my goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, which has kept me motivated to continue learning. He also gives clear guidance on what to practice between lessons, so my practice time is productive. One of my goals was to learn classical guitar while also learning chords and Jaime’s been able to teach me both by learning to read and play guitar tabs. Jaime is always professional, prepared, and punctual, and every lesson feels worthwhile. As a busy working professional, I especially appreciate that he’s helped me make steady progress without needing to spend hours practicing every day. He’s made something I thought was beyond my abilities feel completely achievable. If you’ve always wanted to learn guitar but thought it was too difficult or that you didn’t have enough time, I can honestly say he’s made it possible for me. A year ago I never imagined I’d be playing classical pieces as well as some pop rock songs. His patience, teaching style, and ability to teach so effectively online have made all the difference. I can’t recommend him highly enough." Read more

Brandon P. says, "Rowan is a wonderful teacher! He is patient and is great about focusing lessons on the specific needs of the student, whether it be intonation, bowing, rhythm, etc. One thing that I really appreciate is his ability to articulately explain music theory and it’s relationship to the music we play and the techniques we focus on. With his help, in just two months my intonation, bowing confidence, and rhythm have improved dramatically.!" Read more

N.C. 1. says, "Paul Dillon is my drum teacher. He is positive smart and friendly and I enjoy seeing him every Sunday for my drum lesson. It is always fun to go to drum lessons. My favorite part is playing new songs. Paul knows the right way to play a song. When I have trouble playing a beat, Paul shows me an easy way to do it. It really helps to have Paul encourage me. Paul as my drum teacher makes me feel confident that I too will be able to play like him." Read more

I am a piano and Film scoring teacher looking for piano students or Film Scoring/ Basic Composition students. I graduated from Berklee in Piano performance and Film Scoring and have been teaching since 2012. I studied under the late Bob Winter who was the pianist for the Boston Pops. In the past, I worked at an organization called Piano Playtime, where I taught twelve Kindergarten to 4th grade group piano lessons. I also teach special needs. Jaime is serious about teaching, He values excellent technique and good habits, and works well with online (and helped me through my technical difficulties to solve all of the problems. He strikes the right balance: patient yet also pushes the right amount for improvement, encouraging yet points out where there can be improvement, open to ideas and input yet in charge to keep the lessons going in a productive and logical direction. He clearly has experience teaching a wide range of skill and musical styles. Highly recommended - 5 out of 5 stars!

I have to say, Bobbie has been an absolute gem when it comes to teaching my boys, aged 9 and 11, for the past 4 years. She has this incredible ability to balance being firm and strict with being flexible and fun, which makes the learning experience enjoyable for my kids. But it's not just about piano lessons with Bobbie - she goes above and beyond by teaching them valuable time management skills and encouraging them to reflect on their progress. I sometimes take a seat and listen to her words of wisdom, and I'm always impressed by her insights. Kevin, my talented 11-year-old, was actually asked by his music teacher to be a chorus accompanist at school. That happened after his music teacher heard him playing the piano during a talent show. And Alex, my little 9-year-old - he is obsessed with game music. Well, Bobbie came to the rescue and taught him how to transcribe the music he loves so much. It's incredible to see how he's grown in that area! I wholeheartedly recommend Bobbie to everyone seeking a piano teacher. Although she is selective in her student intake, if you have the chance to learn from her, you will discover what I believe to be the finest piano teacher out there.

Rowan is great! His teaching style is constructive, encouraging, and as the student you can’t help but share in his joy for the violin. He teaches the greater concepts of music theory in a way that is accessible in order to help the student contextualize the music they're learning, which ultimately prepares them to grow into artists of their own who are eager to learn and to keep practicing.

Our daughter has loved taking lessons with Paul. She is not new to playing an instrument but had no prior exposure to the drums (or to rock music) and Paul quickly found a way to get her hooked on both! Paul has a great laid-back manner of instruction yet always manages to accomplish a lot at each lesson. Our daughter always leaves with a smile on her face and more skills in her pocket.

Mike is a very nice guy, easy to get along with and a true master of his craft. My only mild complaint is that he knows so much that his default level of expectation for newbies (like me) is a little high. That being said, I was thrilled to have worked with him and look forward to working with him again when circumstances allow.

“My lessons with Bob have been such an exciting experience! If you are willing to put in the time and follow Bob's expert teaching, you will be able to play beautiful music and bring a new joy to your life. Bob's gifted talent and vast experience is impressive, his love of music and desire to share his passion is inspiring. Open communication is key, Bob welcomes your questions, he feels that no questions are silly or stupid, especially if you're new at this! He wants your feedback and encourages dialog to make your lessons meaningful and the best for you!” Mary G
