I'm the Head Golf Professional at the Quail Ridge Country Club in Acton,Ma. and have been teaching for over 20 yrs. I I focus my instruction for beginning and novice groups of 2-5 players. My most popular program is my "Learn to Golf" program which is a series of 5 lessons over a 4-5 week period that covers all the key fundamentals of grip,weight shift ,the full swing with irons and woods plus the finesse shots: putting,chipping and bunker play on and around the green. It's Golf 101.

Jimmy Ballard,one of the top 50 golf instructors in the world, trained and certified me in his "Connected Golf Swing " method. I've been teaching his approach in the Boston area for more than 20years.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught professional athletes from both the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and numerous single digit handicappers from my 17 yrs as head golf coach at Div. I Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. In addition I work with many begginners and those struggling to break 100 in my "Learn to Golf" program
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try to watch the instructor giving a lesson to determine if you'd be comfortable with his/her style.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Consider references /testimonials for instructor, his/her communication skills,location and quality of instruction area ie golf course vs driving range.
