Welcome! My teaching focuses on the students interests with a balance of technique and fundamentals. After receiving a degree in music performance, touring with 3 bands and playing on 2 cruise ships, I began teaching in Boston: sax, clarinet, flute, piano. I went on to direct beginning band and teach guitar, Uke. and song writing in Brookline for 7 years. I customize lessons to fit the need and learning style of my students and have experience with all ages and many interests. I teach on-line or in my Belmont, MA studio.

Founded in 2001, the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is Boston's key resource for arts programming. Born from a group of local mothers' desire for musical programming for their children, it now serves over 1200 students weekly through various educational programs and partnerships. In Sync Center of the Arts, founded in 1996, is a holistic center for the arts based in Quincy, Massachusetts, serving the surrounding areas. The Conservatory at Highlands, founded in 2016, is a locally owned community music school in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts. Renowned for their 21st-century educational style, they offer private lessons in over 15 instruments, group ensembles, early childhood music and movement, and classes in audio production and music theory. What sets them apart is their innovative use of technology in learning, ensemble classes, electronic department with recording classes, and weekly master classes from guest artists.
