Jaime is serious about teaching, He values excellent technique and good habits, and works well with online (and helped me through my technical difficulties to solve all of the problems. He strikes the right balance: patient yet also pushes the right amount for improvement, encouraging yet points out where there can be improvement, open to ideas and input yet in charge to keep the lessons going in a productive and logical direction. He clearly has experience teaching a wide range of skill and musical styles. Highly recommended - 5 out of 5 stars!

I have to say, Bobbie has been an absolute gem when it comes to teaching my boys, aged 9 and 11, for the past 4 years. She has this incredible ability to balance being firm and strict with being flexible and fun, which makes the learning experience enjoyable for my kids. But it's not just about piano lessons with Bobbie - she goes above and beyond by teaching them valuable time management skills and encouraging them to reflect on their progress. I sometimes take a seat and listen to her words of wisdom, and I'm always impressed by her insights. Kevin, my talented 11-year-old, was actually asked by his music teacher to be a chorus accompanist at school. That happened after his music teacher heard him playing the piano during a talent show. And Alex, my little 9-year-old - he is obsessed with game music. Well, Bobbie came to the rescue and taught him how to transcribe the music he loves so much. It's incredible to see how he's grown in that area! I wholeheartedly recommend Bobbie to everyone seeking a piano teacher. Although she is selective in her student intake, if you have the chance to learn from her, you will discover what I believe to be the finest piano teacher out there.

Rowan is a wonderful teacher! He is patient and is great about focusing lessons on the specific needs of the student, whether it be intonation, bowing, rhythm, etc. One thing that I really appreciate is his ability to articulately explain music theory and it’s relationship to the music we play and the techniques we focus on. With his help, in just two months my intonation, bowing confidence, and rhythm have improved dramatically.!

Varis taught both of my boys piano (first instrument) and then continued to teach one of my sons guitar. He instilled a love for music which has had a lasting effect. He's a talented musician himself which was inspiring for my sons. He's also super accessible and works with each student based on their music interests and skills/needs for development. Having the lessons at home was extremely convenient given our hectic schedules, and Varis was always super flexible if we needed to make a scheduling shift. My only "constructive criticism" is that with only half an hour for a lesson, I wish more time was spent on things that couldn't be done without Varis there (i.e. warming up, looking up online resources, etc.) Overall very happy!

Catherine is a wonderful teacher. As an adult learner, I was a little skeptical about finding a teacher who could adjust teaching styles to best suit me. Catherine has made my return to piano playing a great joy. She is there to cheer me along when I get discouraged and celebrate the little victories with me. I highly recommend Catherine for anyone looking for a great piano teacher.

I really didn’t know the true potential of my voice until I started taking lessons at Bristol. There is a great deal to be learned in these lessons, and if you work at it results come pretty quickly. The classes are super fun and the teachers are knowledgeable, confident and very helpful. Definitely worth checking out even if you just like to sing for fun.
