Jesse Struebing Golf

Jesse Struebing, the former Director of Golf Instruction at MIT, brings over 17 years of experience in the golf instruction industry. Throughout his career, Jesse has experienced golf as a student, a player, a professional and a teacher. As a golf professional in one of Western New York’s most recognized country clubs, Jesse has had the opportunity to both hone his skills on the course as a player as well as his techniques off the course as an instructor. After relocating to the Boston area, Jesse worked locally at the International Country Club, one of the most renowned private clubs in the country.

Beginning his career as a student of golf, Jesse’s teaching style stems from both classic and emerging golf theories- rooted in focus, patience and appreciation for the history and science of sport. His love of golf feeds his passion to teach students from every level of experience and understanding.

Jesse’s approach to teaching has branded him a master communicator with an uncommon insight into the game. In a short period he has become one of the most respected, dynamic, and most sought after teachers in New England.

A lover of both the mental, physical and psychological aspects of the sport of golf, Jesse recently worked alongside neuroscientist Dr. Robert Goldberg on his study of the impact of stress in golf. As a result, Jesse appeared alongside Dr. Robert Goldberg in the Wall Street Journal demonstrating their recent strides in tackling stress related golf atrophy.

As a professional, Jesse acquired sponsorship from Taylor Made/Adidas Golf, Callaway and Adams Golf. He has been sponsored to participate in two Nationwide Tour events.

In addition to experience as a golf professional, Jesse has worked with the industry’s most respected teachers including Jim MacLean’s Master Instructor Mark Costaregni and Top 100 instructor EJ Pfister. His time with these teachers has allowed him to understand, expand his knowledge and magnify his passion for the sport of golf.
