I have a bachelor's degree in business administration. and a minor in Spanish I am originally from Puerto Rico, born and raised there. I speak Spanish well. Right now I work in a school as a Crisis paraprofessional and I am a Spanish teacher with an enrichment program for Kindergarten children.

Being an avid language learner and a linguistics enthusiast, few things bring me more joy than sharing the passion for languages with others and helping them improve their proficiency and fluency day by day, through the exploration of language aspects relevant to their goals. I have graduate studies in teaching Spanish as a second language and 2+ years of experience in teaching. I also spearheaded an initiative to teach basic Spanish to my colleagues at school. Simply put, I love languages and I love teaching and learning. As a matter of fact, some of my best memories have to do with being in a language class, both as a student and as a teach

Established in 2014, Yak Academy is a premier language learning center located in Arlington, MA, and nearby areas. The academy specializes in teaching Spanish, French, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese to children aged 1-10. Utilising a proprietary curriculum, Yak Academy ensures an active-learning and play-based environment in its weekly enrichment classes and preschool programs. The focus is always on immersing students in a foreign language, fostering a global perspective from an early age.
