    I had my first 30 minute instruction. Skip set up my stance, proper club grip and back and follow thru swing. Also a practice exercise. Now its my job to practice what Skip showed me. Pretty good for 30 minutes

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find an instructor who can properly communicate the fundamentals of the game.  Many say they can...few, actually can!  Hire an instructor who has a proven track record of helping students of every age & ability level.  

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Do I have the desire, time, athletic ability & knowledge to play to my fullest potential?

Do I have the patience to start the process of improvement (the more skilled the player, the more patient the player)?

What are my goals?  How do I see myself reaching these goals?
