About
My name is Mark Klotz and I have proudly been a PGA professional since 1994. I grew up on the North Shore in Peabody, MA. I was fortunate to have a strong support system with family and played a lot of golf as a junior all over New England. I was the PGA head professional at Wachusett CC in West Boylston, MA from 1996-1998. I then moved to Marlboro CC in Marlboro, MA from 1999-2012. After all the years at Marlboro I tried a new start up golf course in Belchertown, MA called Cold Spring. I have been here for two years and have realized teaching golf is one of the favorite parts of my job. I then moved on as the PGA Head Professional at KettleBrook Golf Club in Paxton, MA and teaching at Wachusett CC in West Boylston, MA and CityGolf in downtown Boston. Currently I am the head professional @ River Ridge in Jewett City CT, I work with all ages and abilities in hopes of growing the game for all.. The biggest satisfaction for me is to see my student hit it better, chip it better, and putt it better. I try to work with what you have. I do not teach "one swing for all" . I believe the golf swing is an athletic move and some things must be consistent with posture, balance and follow through being the keys to s good swing.
I enjoy watching all players get better. The swing, the rules, the etiquette of the game are some of my favorite parts of my job. The game has been in my life since i was about 12 years old and I feel I have a debt to pay for all that helped me get to where I am and help them enjoy this game of a lifetime.
