Michelle Brooks-Thompson is the kind of voice teacher who changes how you see yourself as a singer, not just how you sound. When I started with her, I could hit notes — but I was singing like someone doing karaoke, not like an artist. Michelle completely shifted that. She doesn’t just train your voice technically (though her ear for pitch, breath support, and tone is incredible). She pushes you to find your own creative instincts — how to interpret a song, add your own phrasing, and actually perform rather than just perform correctly.
