We start the process by beginning to understand the current level of knowledge of the student during the very first lesson. This will help us to set our strategies for teaching. To explain this process we ask ourselves the following questions after meeting the student –
What is the level of understanding of the student based on the fundamentals required for the subject?
What is the confidence level of the student?
How much assistance does the student require?
What are their weak and strong areas based on the topics of interest?
From here we can move forward with developing a curriculum that is just right for the learner.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As soon as you schedule your first lesson, we will meet up at a local public place of your choice to discuss language goals and complete an evaluation form. From there, a personalized curriculum will be designed based off numerous factors included length of study, current knowlegde of subject and learning style.
