Ballet is a fine art and requires a strong basic foundation. The Cecchetti Method is a graded system of classical ballet which takes the student from the first lesson to solo status. All of our teachers are trained and certified in this method through the Cecchetti Council of America.

Our CEO is an alumni of Point Park University where she studied dance, and business entrepreneurship. After graduating college she went on to expand her professional dancing career. One Step Forward Day Care, founded in 2006 in Lanham, MD and surrounding areas, offers a comprehensive preschool program that focuses on holistic growth.
