About
I am a Colombian business administrator and I love teaching, I especially like teaching children, that their experience is one of joy and a lot of love.
I enjoy witnessing the progress of my students, and how learning a new language is going to positively impact their lives. For me, the most gratifying thing about that special feeling is knowing that you were a part of the personal development of that student.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first start working with a new student, I verify their spanish proficiency level with an interview and an exam. After conducting the leveling tests, I proceed to ask what the student is looking to reinforce: conversational skills, grammar, redacting skills, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a business administrator, and for years I was in charge of training and managing multiple groups of people at work in my home country Colombia. I taught people in my field. I’ve also attended seminars, and earned certificates related to teaching. My job made me realize how much I enjoy teaching.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No, I don't have.
How did you get started teaching?
I started 20 years ago teaching training seminars in Colombia. Here in the United States I’ve been teaching for over a year.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with students who had zero background in spanish.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, my current students expressed how much they enjoy our class time. It made my day!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I’d recommend the student to have an interview with their prospective teacher. This would define if there is affinity between the teacher and the student. This is crucial for the learning process especially because this would help the student to maintain their motivation and discipline.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I want to learn? What’s my availability and how much time I’m willing to devote per week to learning spanish? And, what is my end goal?
